My siblings are all pretty creative. My brother @chrisrusselljr, a software engineer drummed up the idea for CRYPTIDS on a vacation day back in November of 2021. He was especially interested in NFT’s at the time and wanted to start a project where he coded iterative, AI-generated art. My older sister, @no__solo, an animator, ended up jumping in on the idea to design art for this iterative-art-project which ended up becoming an NFT called CRYPTIDS. My brother and sister commissioned me as “Lore Designer” to create a world for these CRYPTIDS to live in on the page, in other words, a story or narrative for them to follow.

I can’t extract any of the .gifs from the CRYPTIDS source, but I can link to its opensea pages where you can see all of the 7,776 CRYPTIDS .webp and .gif files in full display. While some are more beautiful than others, I find they all have a charm to them. If for nothing else because of my bias towards the project. 😄
